Hi everyone, it's Brigitte!

Long time no write, eh? Yeah… Anyway, on Monday, my grandparents came back from China!!! They're going to stay with us for like half a year or so! They bought a lot of cool stuff, like this awesome jacket I'm wearing at this moment, jeans, purses, Beijing 2008 shirts, necklaces, earrings, jean jackets, skating tights (for me!) and other stuff! It's pretty awesome!

I just updated the My Hobbies page, so I now have the My Drawings page up, too! I'm going to add a lot more, once I collect them all. Chapter Four of Rose's Adventure is finally up! Sorry for the delay!

Well, I only have time for a quick note, so that's all! Have a good day! Brigitte

Bonjour! Comment allez-vous?

Are you wondering what I just wrote? Well, it's French. Basically, I just said “Hello! How are you?” so you can answer by saying “Tres bien, merci” if you are feeling very good or “Comme ci, comme ca” if you feel so-so. Anyway, enough about French, let's talk about today!

Or the past two weeks, actually. And get prepared for a long, long journal entry.

So today, High School Musical 3: Senior Year opens in theatres. And I think that I am not going to see it. Why? Well, quite frankly, I'm getting sick of those High School Musical movies because, I never liked the songs very much and the dancing is okay. But some of the acting is kinda bad. Yes, I said bad and it wasn't a typo. That's just my opinion, though. You don't have to agree and more than likely you're not.

Anyway, today, I went skating again in Artesia. Which, by the way, is “Michelle Kwan's Rink” but she doesn't skate there very much. (Warning: Skating terms coming up.) Anyway, I had a lesson with Coach Li (Caroline Zhang's coach) and she was extremely happy with my double flips because they're almost, almost clean! So yay me!! I also had a lesson on-ice with a ballet coach and she helped me polish my program. It's looking very nice!!

I am almost done reading The Wednesday Wars too, and it's a really good book. It's from a guy's perspective, but you can still relate to it pretty much. I especially like this one part where he read Romeo and Juliet and is reviewing it.

Here's an excerpt:

“Never mind that Romeo wears tights--at least according to the pictures--but he just isn't very smart. And Juliet isn't too strong in that department, either. I mean, a potion to almost kill you? She drinks a potion to almost kill you? Who would drink a potion to almost kill you? Then Romeo goes ahead and drinks a potion that will kill you because he can't figure out that she's only had a potion that almost kills you? And then Juliet, who at least is smart enough to figure out that Romeo really is dead, makes sure that she uses a knife this time, which is not almost going to kill you, but really will kill you?”(Text copyright Gary D. Schmidt. I do not own anything!)

So after reading that, I don't think I'll ever be able to read Romeo and Juliet without thinking about that!

I edited the “Stories” page so it's now “Writing”. I added some poems too! Rose's Adventure--Chapter Four is up, so head on over and check that out! There still is a lot I want to edit, but I think I'll just finish the first draft first, or else I'll never be able to finish the story!

Speaking of stories, I had a very weird dream last night. (Don't ask me how this relates to stories because I'll tell you later...I think.) Anyway, so my dream was that we met this genie or something, and she told us that our house was going to melt on Vicky's birthday. But, only the inside will melt. And everything will be back to normal the day--or a couple days--after her birthday. So, we got our bags and parkas, and started to stuff pillows, blankets, food, extra clothing, and other stuff into the bags. But we only had limited time because at midnight, our house will start melting, so we were in a rush. Just as we were finished packing, I heard this really loud sound coming from upstairs, because I was downstairs. That's when I knew we had to go.

Vicky and my mom were already outside. Actually, they were at the office, because Vicky was getting a card or something from the receptionists. Anyway, we--as in my dad, grandparents, and me--went out the garage door, but we didn't take the cars. (Don't ask me why! Dreams are weird sometimes!) We ran out and met Vicky and my mom in front of our community swimming pool which is right across the street. I had left my lamp on and you could see the things melting inside. Then, over the intercom, a voice was telling people that our house was melting and the guy was totally freaking out.

Then, fireworks came on. Don't ask me how I thought of that. I guess I just supposed Vicky's birthday was near July 4, although her actual birthday is August 26. And the fireworks were really, extremely, abnormally loud. So I covered my ears. But after like five seconds, they stopped being loud. In fact, there wasn't anymore sound coming from them. So I told Vicky how nice she looked in this beautiful black dress with colorful polka-dots all over it. It actually looked amazing!

But I stopped dreaming there. I actually woke up to make sure my house wasn't actually melting. I know, I'm weird, but oh well. And when I told my mom about it, she said it was a very interesting dream and that I should write it down and maybe make it a story, so there it is.

Well, I don't have much to say anymore, so have a nice day!

Sincerely, Brigitte Gong

PS “Tres bien, merci” actually means “Very good, thank you”. I just wanted to be clear.
