Hello!

Sorry I didn't have a chance to update my website over the weekend—I was just soo busy! Anyway, I have a chance to do it now! On Saturday, I competed at Regionals! I didn't skate my best, but I knew what I had to improve and now I'm getting ready for next year. My artistic scores were pretty good, so now I just have to work on landing my jumps consistently!

After I competed, my sister, her friend, and I (plus our families!) went to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It's about a pampered Beverly Hills chihuahua named Chloe who gets lost in Mexico! Her owner, Vivian, is out on a business trip, so she is left under her niece, Rachel's supervision. But, when Rachel leaves Chloe home, she escapes! Will Rachel, Papi (a chihuahua that's in love with Chloe) and some of Chloe's friends find her? Watch the movie because I simply will not tell you!

When the movie was over, we went to Vicky's friend Jami's house to eat dinner together. Her mom made curry rice and it was really good (and spicy)! Vicky and Jami made a little show like “iCarly”—that they called “iSwimmers”—and I video-taped it for them. I must say, it was quite silly. And, before we knew it, it was ten o'clock and we had to go home.

On Sunday, I woke up at six o'clock. First, I took off my night contacts (that finally work!) and took a shower because there was still a lot of mousse and make up on me. When I was done showering, (is that a word?!?) Vicky had already woken up, too. I helped her take off her contacts, and together, we crept downstairs to make breakfast for our parents. We made some banana and plain pancakes for them. Vicky and I had chocolate chip ones.

After we ate, it was about seven-twenty-ish and my mom had us pack some snacks. (Why? You'll see why in a sec, trust me!) When we were done doing that, it was seven thirty and we hit the road to San Diego. We arrived at an airport a couple thirty, forty minutes later. (Do you have any guesses now?) And no, we did not fly to some other country or state. In fact, we stayed at the airport.

And attended an Air Show!!!

It was really cool! We got to hop on some planes (but not fly them!) and we watched some pilots demonstrate a couple U.S. Navy and Marine Corp planes. Some were extremely loud, while others weren't that fast. One of my favorites was this plane that could take off and land vertically. Like a helicopter! There was also a team of planes that flew like eighteen inches apart from each other! I repeat: eighteen inches! After the air show ended, (around four o'clock) we headed back home and had udon for dinner. Vicky and I watched some TV, and then we went to sleep.

Okay, now fast forward to today. Before you do so, though, I forgot something. On Friday, we went costume shopping (since we had no time this weekend). I am going to be a devil and Vicky is going to be an angel! So, it's pretty cool. If you know what you're going to be, put it in the comment box below. Now today, I went skating again and it went well. My coach had me start on double toes again and we worked on getting my jumps clean (fully rotated). After skating, I had a pilates lesson and we stretched my hamstrings, back, and quads. I felt all noodly afterwards! Well, I'm writing this at 2:17 pm, so my day hasn't ended yet! I'll keep ya posted though! Au revoir!

It's Thursday again! Time passed too fast, if only we could press 'pause'; now that would be nice. Anyway, the blog archive page is up, so you can just click the link of the week you would like to view, and a screen should pop up with everything Vicky and I wrote during that time period.

Speaking of Vicky, she has a swim meet coming up this weekend! And I, as a supporting big sis, will have to be there all... day...long. It's not that bad, actually, because I finally have time to read. I am also going to be timing both Saturday and Sunday, so at least I've got plenty of things to do. My dad will also pick up my cousin from Thousand Oaks--which is a four-hour drive round-trip--and bring him to watch Vicky swim, so good luck Vicky and no pressure! =D

Also, I am participating in the third annual Project Joy Skate-a-Thon! We will be donating to the Olive Crest, which provides homes and services for abused children, and The Smile Train, which provides free cleft palette surgery for children in developing countries. For more info, go to www.skate4joy.org! Anyway, today at skating, I fell really hard on my tailbone! And if any of you have never fallen on your tailbone before, well I can tell you it hurts. A lot! I could only skate two sessions, but I'm hoping I will be able to get back on the ice tomorrow!

For my website, I'm working on the My Drawings page, and I'll let you all know when it is up. Well, I don't have anything else to say, so I'll update my website again when I have time. Au revoir!

On Saturday, I went to my sister's skating competition and then after that, my sister, my friend, and I went to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It's about this chihuahua named Chloe whose owner leaves and she is with her owner's niece and they go to Mexico and lose her. But, Papi (another chihuahua that loves her) wants to save her. And I will not tell you what happens at the end.

On Sunday, I went to an airshow. The Blue Angels are a team of U.S. Navy pilots that fly together and they are the best! But they were sort of noisy. I liked the vertical take-off and landing. It is cool! I also liked watching a guy jump down from the sky with the USA flag and a parachute. They also had food and drinks so we wouldn't be hungry or thirsty. And some portable bathrooms just in case. ;-)

Now let's go all the way from Sunday to today.

I wake up in the morning. I take my night contacts off and I got downstairs to eat my breakfast. And then, I go get ready for school. And when I get to school, I'm almost late, but I get on time. When we get in the classroom, we write our journal and finish our Mountain Math and Language. Then, we go to recess and I play jump rope with my friends. When the bell rings, we go back in and go to Meet the Masters and that's when we learn about an artist named Vincent van Gogh.

After that, we went to lunch and I had to leave early because of running club. When the bell rang, we froze. Then we went back to the classroom, went to library, got our backpacks, and went home.

When I got home, my sister and my mom weren't home yet. Only my dad and I were home. When they came home, we all had lunch except for me, because I already did. BTW, I had pasta. I finished my homework, played piano, and went to swimming. We did a lot of stuff there, like racing, and some 100 yards. And then I took a shower and went home.

When I got home, dinner was already ready, so my family ate dinner and me and my sister watched some TV, ate some fruit, and went to bed.

Sincerely,

Vicky

PS I have a swimming meet this weekend!
